VAUXHALL COMBO

Here we have our own Combo 1.3 CDTi Van.

We took this in part exchange and decided to keep it as we end up taking lots of alloy wheels for refurbishment, and it has been a great little run around. The bodywork is exactly what you would expect from a van of this age - it has battle scars! But it is in good shape overall and has the side loading door. We fitted new wheel trims; and it has the benefit of the full bulkhead which is carpeted in the cockpit.

Moving to the inside, and it is all original, with the standard Vauxhall CD radio. It has no frills with just the manual wind windows, but the deadlocking system works, and it comes with 3 original keys.

We had done some sound insulation in the cabin, and fitted carpet mats to make it a more pleasant environment when we have been using it, but there is little else to say.

The van was a painter and decorator's van at some point and the first two owners had it for a combined 16 years. It has only 4 owners including us, and we have run the van since October of 2022 when we had it serviced and new brakes fitted all round.

We fitted new rear springs and shocks as the springs were an advisory on the previous MOT, along with a new driveshaft and ABS rings. We sent it for a new MOT only to be surprised it needed welding. Everyone agreed it is such a good van it was worth doing despite the cost,and a new MOT was issued. Clearly with a new MOT, great service history, and low miles, the van is a great little buy if you are looking for something of this size.

Please note the mileage will increase as it is still in limited but not by much.

The van is being sold very much on trade terms, but will come with a 6 month warranty on the major mechanical components if sold at the full price.
